Getting the visuals right for your short film is vital, but a lot of the story is told through the sound. Foley, diegetic and non-diegetic sound, dialogue - how can you make sure that the aural elements in your film come together, on-set and in post, to create atmosphere and sense of place - to really make your short sing? We hear from industry experts including dubbing mixers, foley artists, sound engineers and ADR recordists working at post-production houses across the UK on this panel.
We’ll also explore ways to make your short films accessible for d/Deaf, visually impaired and hard of hearing audiences, through descriptive captioning and audio description. This panel will be fully BSL interpreted.
