Habibi Collective Presents Film Collectives and Political Liberation in the UK

  • Castle Cinema First floor, 64-66 Brooksby's Walk London, e9 6da United Kingdom (map)

The second in a season of FILM COLLECTIVES & POLITICAL LIBERATION IN THE UK from 1963-2020 hosted by Habibi Collective with Q&As after each screening with members from the collectives involved.

This particular programme unravels a history where a significant change happened in our society thanks to collectives and small organised movements shining a light on untold stories which we find are parallel to the cultural crossroads we face ourselves at in current times.

This event will be screening Bhangara Jig (1990), Who Takes The Rap: Immigration (1986), You’ll Never Work Alone (1984) and Bitter Wages (1984).
